Legendary Songwriter & Producer Allen Toussaint Dead At 77

Allen Toussaint, a legendary and influential producer and songwriter, died on Monday at 77 years old, according to his family.

The longtime musician, who was hugely influential in the New Orleans music scene, was in Europe for a tour and had just finished a performance in Spain on Monday night before his death.
